Bonner School has been fortunate in its ability to provide bus transportation to all of our students, even those living very near the school. However, the District is only required to transport students who live beyond a three-mile radius of the school. Trustees hope to continue providing bus service to all students, but staffing challenges may jeopardize that goal.
Majestic Bus Service, led by our Transportation Director, Mike Krout, continues to face unprecedented challenges in hiring drivers for the five routes Bonner School intends to provide our students.. So Bonner School will start the 2023-2024 school year short one route, running four routes until an additional driver is hired to cover the fifth route.
Trustees echo the appeal made by Mr. Krout to all parents, guardians, grandparents, or friends of the school who might be available to drive school bus, that they would consider contacting Mr. Krout at 406-273-3346. Majestic Bus Service provides all the necessary training and licensing at no cost to the driver.
Parents of bus riding students, please take time to review the Bus Rules, and be aware of the steps that may be taken if a student is not following them. These rules help make the bus experience a positive one for all students.
