This is my second year at Bonner as a teacher, but I have been apart of this community for my whole life. Here is a little fun fact for you: I went to Bonner as a kid from Kindergarten to 8th grade. In first grade I was lucky enough to have the amazing Mrs. Addington. She had a saying and when we were doing well in class she would say "you knocked my socks off boys and girls!" She had a stick with a pair of socks attached to it and would wave it in the air. This is something that has always stuck with me and now something that I say to my students! Mrs. Addington came to my classroom today and dropped off a special surprise. MY VERY OWN "KNOCKED MY SOCKS OFF" STICK! I hope to make the same impact on my students as she made on me. I feel very lucky to be back.
