6th grade student Zayden Vancleef won 2nd place in the second annual Montana Memory Project Photo Prompt writing contest. Contest participants selected a photo from this collection of historic Montana photos. Participants then had to write a short story based off of their chosen photo in 650 words or less. She wins four passes to the Museum of the Rockies in Bozeman, Montana, and a year-long subscription to the Distinctly Montana magazine. Her story will also be published in the Distinctly Montana newsletter and on its webpage.
