Mr. Hamilton and his second-grade class received a wonderful surprise when Stockman Bank generously gifted them with a $300 check as part of Non-Stop Local Missoula's Project Classroom initiative. During the presentation, representatives from Non-Stop Local visited the classroom to deliver the grant and even conducted an engaging interview with the students and their teacher. This monthly grant program aims to support classrooms in need of extra funding for special projects, and Mr. Hamilton’s class plans to use this opportunity creatively by learning how to bake together in the coming weeks. Both students and their teacher are thrilled about this exciting new adventure in learning thanks to Stockman Bank and Non-Stop Local Missoula!

Hellgate High School 's Wind Ensemble came to Bonner to share music and talk about High School Band. They played fantastic music, and provided an opportunity to conduct the group.! Mr. Dochnahl talked about the various high school bands, and students from the ensemble talked about band opportunities and high school musical experiences. It was wonderful having them come to our school!

The Bonner middle school band played "Go Griz Go" in the hallway last week, energizing students and staff to cheer for the Griz-Cats game. While the Griz didn't take the win, the experience was full of fun and excitement!
Music classes are busy preparing for our winter concerts! We hope to see you there! Mark your calendars to see the performances on December 17th at the following times:

Come on down to conferences Thursday evening (Nov. 7th, 3pm-6:30pm) and check out the 6th grade's local history projects in the library! A partnership through the Bonner Milltown History Center has led to some amazing discoveries for our budding historians and curators. This is NOT stuff you can Google, but required some deep digging into old records. We are proud of our 6th grade!

Thank you to all the students who brought pumpkin characters to decorate our library! They were all so well done and brought extra excitement to our library space.

Bonner Families: We are excited to introduce SRO (School Resource Officer) Weber, who brings a wealth of experience and dedication to our school community. Born and raised in Missoula, MT, SRO Weber is a proud graduate of Sentinel High School. After high school, he served in the United States Air Force from 2013 to 2018, demonstrating his commitment to service and leadership. Following his military career, SRO Weber worked at the Missoula County Jail for six years before transitioning to patrol as a Deputy, where he has served for the past three years. He is also a valued member of the Missoula County Special Response Team and has taken on the role of Field Training Officer. Outside of his professional life, SRO Weber is married and has two children. He enjoys spending time with his family, and they share their home with a dog and livestock. In his free time, SRO Weber loves outdoor activities, hunting, working out, and training. We are thrilled to have SRO Weber as part of our Bonner family, and we look forward to the positive impact he will make on our students and community!
