February movie night is Friday, February 21st! We will be showing Despicable Me 4!! Doors open at 5:30, Movie starts at 6pm. The movie is FREE! Pizza, Popcorn & Candy are $2 each, Water is $1.00. TK-5th Grade. Students must be accompanied by an adult.

Bonner Middle School band students had a fantastic time this week at the Mass Band Festival. Students from five schools gathered together to rehearse and put on an afternoon concert. Percussionists also prepared and performed a bucket drumming piece. It was a great experience for band members and a wonderful opportunity to play and work with other musicians!

First graders showed perseverance last week researching owls and writing paragraphs about what they learned. We then had presenters from the Owl Research Institute share more cool owl facts with us!

Book Fair is coming up! I can't wait. If your student is interested in helping to decorate the library for the Book Fair, here are the details about our annual contest. Fly Away With a Good Book Contest! Our Bonner Book Fair is quickly approaching! Shopping will start Tuesday, March 4th. We are looking for students to help us prepare for it by creating their very own flying themed decorations. The theme this year is Fly Away With a Good Book. The flying decoration you create will be displayed at the book fair as our imaginations take flight with all the new books. If you would like to participate, we will be choosing a favorite from each grade to win a free book from the Book Fair! The Rules: Flying decorations need to be made out of things found at home (non-perishable) They need to be small enough for you to carry them to school They need to be completed and brought to the library by Monday, March 3rd.

The results are in after another wonderful Bonner Book Bowl this year! Octopus Acrobatics was our winning book with 122 votes. Be sure to ask your student which book they liked best.
